Tracking 101

Upon your first login to Trackhawk GPS, your vehicle might need to be added to the account. To do so click on the hamburger + cog icon on the upper right hand corner. 

Click on your vehicle name that was automated through our system. The first screen will be the 'Info' tab. This is where you will find detailed information about your vehicle

Depending on which GPS tracker you have selected the information you see here will be custom to the type of device that you have. 

History Tab

In the 'History' tab you will see the current location of your vehicle as well as a bread crumb of where your vehicle has been. 

Routes

To view the routes your vhicle has taken, click on any of the trips you see in the history. Here you will see details on where the vehicle has been, how long the trip was, and the max speed the vehicle was driven. 

Notifications

In this tab you can customize alerts that you receive on your mobile device. For example: the workflow that you will need to follow to create a speed sensor is below:

1. Click on Notification in the lower menu
2. Click on the plus sign on the upper right of the screen
3. Select the vehicle you will like to recieve a notification on
4. Select 'Speed'
5. Keep the default, Fixed speed limit option
6. Enter the 'From' and 'To' speed you would like to receive notifications on. 

Geofences

Follow these steps to create a geofence on mobile: 

1. Click on Geofences on the lower menu of the screen
2. Click on the plus sign on the upper right of the screen
3. Enter the geofence name
4. Select the color of the geofence 
5. Select the visibility which is essentially the zoom in size of the geofence. 
6. Click on create the notification to customize the type of notification you want to receive whether it is for inside or outside the geofence.
